Frequently Asked Questions City Wellbeing Practice

Please do not contact your GP for a COVID-19 vaccine

The first phase of the NHS Covid-19 vaccination programme has started. When it is the right time you will receive an invitation to come forward. For most people this will be a letter, either from your GP or the national NHS. This letter will include all the information you will need to book appointments, including your NHS number. Please do not contact the NHS to get an appointment until you get this letter. Information on the vaccine is available here:

Dr Ben Dougall (m)
Dr Brenda Jamini Manoharan (f)
Dr Rajivi Sanjeevi (f)
Dr Salman Uddin (m)

A list of staff qualifications and GMC numbers is available on request.

GP Teaching Practice

City Wellbeing Practice is a teaching practice for undergraduate teaching.  Therefore medical students undertake some of their education in this practice and patients may see a medical student in addition to a doctor.  This is a very important part of their training as future doctors and we are grateful for your help in this regard.  All student activity is supervised by a doctor.  However, no intrusion on the privacy of the consultation will take place against the wishes of the patient.
